Description:

Knockdown of the lncRNA HOXD-AS1 using siRNAs did not affect the expression of its neighboring gene (HOXD1). However, dCas9-KRAB-mediated targeting of HOXD-AS1 resulted in strong repression of HOXD1, as well.
